Language World was held in Rugby at Dunchurch Park
, a beautiful setting made all the lovelier by the wonderful people who attended the conference. As René Koglbauer said at the (misty) start: ‘There may not be sun but there are lots of smiles!’ (The sun did come out soon afterwards as well!)
Below are the sketch notes for the sessions I attended. Wish I could have attended more sessions but it wasn’t possible without Hermione’s TimeTurner.
And I’ll share my presentation on sketchnoting later in the week.

A window on the world – PLL and SMSC
Primary Spanish Show and tell – Clare Seccombe

I absolutely admire your sketchnoting Lisa and I think you should run a webinar on how to teach pupils the skills to sketchnote themselves. I am adding your sketchnote to my presentation, it was an honour for me that you attended my session and produced a piece of art from it!!! You are inspiring!
Merci beaucoup Nadine. It’s the first time I’ve been sat the front doing it, and i have to admit that I got rather carried away enjoying all your lovely visuals. Was a pleasure 😉
