Here are my photos from my three day stay in Madrid at the eTwinning conference.
Hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoy remembering taking them!

Having had a lovely ten days enjoying the sun, sea, sand, sights, sounds and cerveza in Spain ( I know it begins with c- say it like an Andalucian!), I’ve just got back to rainy England – not very impressed, I can tell you.
I’ve been catching up with emails and reading this evening – as well as emptying and loading the washing machine several times.
Normal service will be resumed shortly – I may have been on holiday, but my brain didn’t completely seize up and there are several posts floating around up there!
So, to help me re-acclimatise, here’s a picture of where I’ve been –
¡ojalá que estuviera todavía allí!
Further to my last post, Joe Dale asked me to repeat the section of the Access Network Flashmeeting concerning the use of puppets so that he could record it and publish it on his blog.
I was happy to oblige, and sat down on Saturday morning, surrounded by puppets and tried to replicate what I said about puppets. I introduced my puppets and gave some ideas for their use in the PLL classroom. You can watch the video on Joe’s blog – and also read – and hear- his explanation of the rigmarole he went through to publish the post. Hope he thinks it was worth it ;o)
And, as an added extra, here are some pictures of my puppets – there are more on my Flickr puppets set (see stream on left). Thanks to my helpers (amazing what the promise of a Euro point can do!) who you can also see in modelling action in the clip below!

Tomorrow I’m off to Prague for an eTwinning Professional Development Workshop (PDW). I’m very much looking forward to it as I had a great time on the last one in Nottingham, and also as Prague is a place I’ve always fancied visiting!
I hope to meet up with lots of other eTwinning Ambassadors from across Europe and share ideas and experiences of making cross country links. No doubt I’ll tell you all about next week when I return.
And there is a four hour sightseeing tour to anticipate too as well as dinner on a boat. All work and no play …. ;o)

I’ve been (re)exploring Flickr this evening. I joined a while ago and uploaded some photos – but then forgot about it. As my husband was delayed by the Heathrow Terminal 5 fiasco, I had a spare few hours that i have spent browsing a multitude of photographs.
So here begins an (occasional) series of images of one of my first memories of Spain – the Osborne bull or Toro de Osborne.
More about Flickr and Osborne bull in future posts!
